Details

The Gaerne GX-1 is an entry level boot that's designed to make zero sacrifices when it comes to comfort and protection. And because you still get the same level of quality as Gaerne's high-end boots at a more affordable price point, the GX-1s represent a value that's very hard to match. The GX-1 is made in Italy just like Gaerne's flagship SG-12, and the two boots share the same premium leather and durable plastic components.

The GX-1 doesn’t skimp on protection, giving you a reinforced heel counter, a beefy shin plate, and a series of reinforced, anti-abrasion fabrics. Alloy buckles close everything up, and once you're buckled in you'll find the GX-1 is stiff enough for motocross but also flexible enough for dual-sport and trail riding. Riders say the boots have a very comfortable fit that benefits from a lack of creasing or bunching.

They also mention a very short break-in period and a slightly wider toe box, similar to the width on most Gaerne boots. Gaerne understands the stress that even light riding can put on boots. So when they make an entry level boot like the GX-1, you know you’re getting a boot with the same spirit and the same quality as the rest of Gaerne's lineup.
